Toddlers Academy, Inc. was founded as a private preschool in 1972. We were licensed by the state to care for 5 children in the converted living room of our home. We quickly outgrew the living room as well as the additions to our home. The Center moved to its present location in August 1975 and the rest is child care history. Our key staff have over 150 years of combined experience serving the families of the Greater Durham Community.
We are constantly expanding the range of services offered, taking children of all ages. Our goal is to carefully educate and develop a fun way. We strive to turn the learning process.
At our center, we are committed to providing a nurturing, family-friendly environment where children of all ages can thrive. With a 5-star rated license, our academic curriculum emphasizes literacy to ensure school readiness, while engaging music and art activities foster creativity and self-expression. We prioritize health and safety by offering nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks, maintaining video monitoring in all classrooms, and employing CPR and First Aid certified teachers. Our goal is to support every child’s growth and development in a secure, enriching, and inspiring setting.
